Contract awarding for public private partnership for reconstruction, modernization, upgrade and maintenance of public lighting of the Municipality of Resen for 15 years period

The way of organization of the public lighting system in Municipality of Resen, in this moment it's on the standard level with possibilities of its upgrading. The current system its based on mercury light bulbs which are energy non efficient.
According the feasibility study for modernization, maintenance and upgrade of the current system carried by the municipality council num. 07-3915/12 from 25.12.2013 which gives a proposition for changing the current light system with LED lights. Beside the energy savings and the necessary funds for maintaining the new light system will provide better lighting according to the standards with much better level of usage.
According the current data from the program for public lightning 2013/2014 on the territory of Municipality of Resen 2104 light bulbs are installed. Its estimated that over 90 % of them are mercury lights. With the new solution according the elaborate for reconstruction, modernization and maintenance issued by accredited electro engineer with certificate B.4 which is part of the feasibility study its necessary to replace the current Hg lights and increase the number to 2 400 which will give a total of 60 % savings on electrical energy for public lightening.
According the decision issued by the municipality council 07-1872 from 30.6.2014 the project for reconstruction, modernization, upgrading and maintenance of the system for lighting will be performed with public private partnership.
