Public procurement of Upgrading of the Microwave Communications System for Wireless Backhaul at Faculty of Law — Kichevo, St. Clement of Ohrid University of Bitola. The existing microwave Backhaul system consists of links by the manufacturer NERA, model Evolution XPAND IP Long Haul, which form a core network and operate in 4 GHz and 8 GHz frequency bands. This system uses an IP communications protocol in the area where it terminates. Each microwave link consists of two terminals, one on each side. Each terminal consists of an antenna, waveguide, radio unit, and indoor unit powered by DC power supply and interconnected to a switch. For the purpose of providing connection to the Faculty of Law — Kichevo, one of the microwave link routes, from the core network, needs to be upgraded and a new microwave access link needs to be constructed additionally. The new microwave access link should consist of an antenna, coaxial cable, primary and backup radio unit, coupler, and an indoor unit. The location where it terminates must be additionally provided with a power source and an access network router.
