The overall objective of the contract is to development of the ‘Command Center’ container.
The ability to face current and sudden threats with flexible and efficient interventions is crucial for every crisis situation. Even the best systems can fail in emergency situations, due to the lack of appropriate and effective tools. The common systems for the communication and management of critical events are based on widespread technology such as the email, the attachments and SMS. Unfortunately, such systems have not been developed for special mass emergency communication and often make the process of managing an unexpected crisis more difficult than it actually is. The current contract aims to design a software platform for an emergency situations management information system (M.I.S.) in order to support all the phases during the management of an emergency.
The platform will be installed inside a mobile control and crisis management unit.
