Support for Policy Reform, Accession and Effectiveness (SUPRAE)

Technical assistance to support EU accession of North Macedonia by strengthening capacity to deliver on structural reforms, align country’s horizontal systems and standards with EU ones and ensure that EU funds create value for country and people. The project will improve quality of national strategic planning, monitoring and reporting and will strengthen policy dialogue involving authorities, civil society and donors. It will upgrade national negotiation framework, methodology and capacity, will digitalise coordination platforms and ensure inclusive accession process oriented towards each citizen and region. The project will reorganise and strengthen established management and control systems for EU funds and will invest in maturing projects and sector pipelines to support future EU and national investments. It shall improve the communication on EU policies, values and use of EU funds and contribute to better public understanding of EU’s role and accession process in North Macedonia.
